Kaden, my mom and I just got back from our trip to sunny Florida. We were there a week and it flew by. My relatives surpirsed us by renting a condominum for us to stay in. It was in Perdido Key and it was a home away from home.
We spent most of our time in the shopping, swimming, and eating! We all went to the Gulf Shores Zoo and boy was it hot!! I forogt how you can sweat by just standing!! Poor Kaden, his cheeks were so red, but he loved seeing all the animals. We would usually take a swim before bedtime and this wore Kaden out! He loved it though! We also took him to the beach and he just had a ball in the sand and water! There were a lot of jellyfish in the water so we couldnt go to far in.
Mom and I had to do some shopping! Of course we hit Target!! I think we spent 3 hours there. We also went to the outlet stores and did some damage there! Then there was Super Walmart! I think we went there 4 times while we were there. I couldnt believe the prices! We pay at least $2 more on everything up here in AK.
Then of course there was the eating! We hit up several restaurants that we do not have here. We tried to get to Olive Garden but I wasnt feeling to well. We did go to Lamberts where they throw rolls at you and have good Southern food. My doctor told me I had to gain 4 lbs by the next visit and I think I obtained that in the week I was there!
Not only did I get to see family but I got to see friends as well. I wish there was more time to see everyone though.
Through this trip, I have come to the conclusion that I will NOT be traveling anymore when I am pregnant!! We spent 18 hours trveling back to Anchorage and it was not fun! I dont know waht I would have done without my mom! It was worth seeing all my friends and family though. So I hope you enjoy the photos. Kaden was a hit with everyone!
