The Cate Family

My memaws cancer came back in her liver and esophagus. I wanted her to meet her great grand daughter before she left to be with the Lord. All of her kids and grandkids got to spend time with her. She is currently at a hospice where my 2 aunts and dad rarely leave her side. She is an amazing woman who gave tons of love and had an effect on everyone she befriended. These days are hard as we watch her fade. This morning she said it would be a beautifl to meet Jesus and proceeded to sing the hmyn "Come dine with me, the master calls." When she is awake, she still has her humor. She will be greatly missed but know we will see her one day.

Brooke likes to suck on her hands. She is pretty close to fitting it all in her mouth. SHe was just haning out in the 3rd concourse we were in on the floor.

We all had breakfast in concourse B...then lunch in concourse C...snacks in concourse A.....bathroom break back in concourse B........cat nap in concourse D.......

So flying from Alaska to Florida is not the most fun thing to do with 2 kids, even if we rode first class! Kaden and Brooke actually did pretty well. Kaden only had 1 screaming fit on the plane. But it seemed like when Kaden was getitng upset, Brook ewould get upset. Nate was there to help luckily, but we need to teach him how to be the Baby WHisperer. (He is getting better!) Kaden watched a lot of DVDS until the battery ran out. He didnt sleep to well and neither did I! The worst part of it was flying out of Atlanta. Okay so we were able to get out of ANchorage and Seattle which was snowing like crazy. But we get to humid Atlanta at 7am and missed our connecting flight due to not getting out of Seattle on time. Okay, we will catch the 830 flight that was leaving. Lets just say they moved our gate 8 times and canceled our flight once! Luckily we FINALLY got in at 3pm. We visited almost every concourase and rode the tram way to many times! None of us had sleep so we were all easily frustrated. ANd we had to wheel dad around in a heavy wheelchair due to his knee surgery. Ugh!

Brookes first Christmas was a little crazy. The Robinson gang actually celebrated Christmas on Christmas Eve due to us flying to Flrodai on Christmas day. I got an amazing camera from Jason and have been taking lots of pics. Christmas morning we went over to my Aunt Nenes and Uncle Jeffs. I got a cricut (a really cool machine for scrapbooking!), new ipod, comfy slippers, and some other cool things. The kids got toys and video and really cool clothes that were embroidered by my aunt. Jason got a new ipod and a contraption that keeps count of pulse, caleries, etc when running. AND WE GOT A NEW KEYBOARD!! I think we haev gotten 3 new keyboards so now you guys can actually read what I am saying!!

So here are some pics from Christmas day. The kids and I flew to Pensacola Fl to spend time with my memaw because her cancer came back and she wasnt doing well. So we are still here in Fl until the 7th and trying to spend as much time with her as possible.
